Dear Citizens of New Canaan,
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your active participation in the November 7th
municipal election. Your commitment to democracy and civic engagement is what makes New Canaan
special. By exercising our right to vote, we demonstrate our commitment to the future of our town and
our willingness to take an active role in shaping it.
Now that the election is behind us, it is time for us to come together as a united community and work
toward the best interests of our town. Regardless of our individual political affiliations or differences,
we must remember that we all share a common goal – to create a thriving community. I look forward
to working with Steve Karl and Amy Murphy Carroll to achieve that goal.
Our town is a tapestry of diverse perspectives, talents, and experiences, and it is through collaboration
and cooperation that we will unlock its full potential. I encourage you to actively engage in community
initiatives, attend town hall meetings, and participate in local events. Your ideas, insights, and
contributions are invaluable in shaping the policies and decisions that will impact our daily lives.
Remember, the strength of our community lies in our unity. Together, we can overcome challenges,
celebrate achievements, and create a brighter future for all. Let us prioritize open dialogue, respect
for one another, and a shared commitment to progress.
Again, my deepest gratitude to all who participated in the election. Your involvement has set a positive
example and reaffirmed the importance of active citizenship. Let us continue to work together for the
betterment of New Canaan.
